The garden

The heart of the house · since 1929

The garden

A lemon courtyard, enclosed within the walls. Your open-air living room, in the shade of the same trees that watched three generations grow.

Your open-air living room

From the alley you see nothing. Step in, and there’s paradise.

The gravel, the trees, the lemons, the murmur of little fountains. The day here has its rhythm: in the morning you catch the sun in the open corner, in the afternoon you move into the cool shade of the trees — without leaving home. And when evening falls the lights come on, and the big table under the branches becomes the place to linger.

“The garden didn’t come after the renovation. It came first — and it’s the reason the renovation happened at all.”
