Parking

Free — but tell us in advance that you are coming by car.

Before you set off, tell us you’re driving

We need the registration and the model of the car: at check-in or, better, before you arrive. It isn’t red tape — it’s how we recognise which cars are ours.

Where to leave it

Parking is free.

On the street, at the entrance to the house.

Or 200 metres away, opposite Scafati railway station, between 06:30 and 21:00. On Saturday afternoons and Sundays — or if you’re stuck — call reception and we’ll sort it out.

At check-in we give you a sign that says “Antheia Homes Domus Prete”: put it on the dashboard, so the car can be recognised.

Things to know

The area is fenced but not guarded. The car remains the owner’s responsibility: don’t leave valuables inside. We’d rather say it plainly now.

No double parking, no blocking the passageways or other cars: the alley is narrow and the people who live here walk through it.

If you’d rather not think about it

There’s a valet service at €30 per night.

Charging points for electric cars are not available at the moment.

One thought, though

The parking is free and it’s there. But the station is 250 metres away, Naples and Salerno are twenty-five minutes from it, and the ruins of Pompeii are a quarter of an hour on foot. Our guests write it themselves in their reviews: the car, here, often just sits.

If you’re still deciding whether to hire one, read Getting here before you book it.

If you need anything else

Write or call Domenico: a person answers, not a switchboard.
