Getting here

By train, by car, by plane. The station is 250 metres away.

The address

Vicolo Tessitori 27, 84018 Scafati (SA), Italy

The alley is the real one, the one in the story: from the street you see nothing. You walk in, and there is the garden.

By train — and this is the right way

Scafati’s national railway station is 250 metres away: a three-minute walk, suitcase and all, no thinking required.

From there, Naples and Salerno are 25 minutes away. This isn’t brochure filler: it’s the reason our guests write in their reviews that they never needed the car. You go to Naples in the morning and come back in the evening without hunting for a parking space, without paying for one, and without sitting in the queue on the coast road.

The ruins of Pompeii are a fifteen-minute walk. From the house. On foot.

From 2027, two train stops will also take you to Naples Capodichino airport.

By car

The handiest exit on the A3 Naples–Pompeii–Salerno motorway is Pompei Centro, about a kilometre away: from there you reach Naples, Salerno and the rest of Campania.

Capodichino is half an hour by car.

Parking has a page of its own, because there are one or two things worth knowing before you arrive: Parking.

By plane

The airport is Naples Capodichino, half an hour by car. If you would rather not drive, we arrange a transfer with a driver: see Breakfast and services.

By ferry

Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Ischia can be reached by sea: ferries leave from Salerno, Naples and Castellammare di Stabia. Timetables change with the season — ask Domenico when you arrive and he’ll give you the current ones.

If you need anything else

Write or call Domenico: a person answers, not a switchboard.
